Official tyre suppliers Pirelli have revealed which of their P Zero compounds will be taken to the next three rounds of the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship in Belgium, Italy and Singapore.
At the Spa-Francorchamps race the hard and medium rubber will be used to allow the drivers to meet the demands of a circuit that puts plenty of energy through the tyres. The same two nominations will used for the manufacturer’s home Grand Prix in Italy in September.

In Singapore, the action returns to street racing and the soft and super-soft tyres will have an outing. The same combination was used in Monaco and Canada earlier in the season.

The 2012 rules stipulate that each team will receive six sets of the harder compound and five sets of the softer compound for the race weekend, which can be used at any point from Practice One onwards.

Pirelli will also bring its Cinturato Green intermediate tyre for damp track conditions (four sets per driver) as well as the Cinturato Blue rain tyre (three sets per driver) to each race.

Tyre compounds for the 2012 season:
Australia (Melbourne) - medium, soft
Malaysia (Sepang) - hard, medium
China (Shanghai) - medium, soft
Bahrain (Sakhir) - medium, soft
Spain (Catalunya) - hard, soft
Monaco (Monte Carlo) - soft, super-soft
Canada (Montreal) - soft, super-soft
Europe (Valencia) - medium, soft
Great Britain (Silverstone) - hard, soft
Germany (Hockenheim) - medium, soft
Hungary (Budapest) - medium, soft
Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps) - hard, medium
Italy (Monza) - hard, medium
Singapore (Singapore) - soft, super-soft
