New Williams to debut at Jerez test
Williams will unveil their 2012 car, the FW34, at the first pre-season test. The four-day session will get underway at Spain's Jerez circuit on February 7. The British team endured their worst-ever campaign in 2011, scoring just five points and finishing ninth in the standings.
Raikkonen returns to F1 action at private Valencia test
2007 world champion Kimi Raikkonen has got back behind the wheel of a Formula One car for the first time in two years. Raikkonen is spending Monday sampling a 2010-spec Renault at the Spanish circuit of Valencia in a specially-arranged test designed to help him reacclimatise to F1 ahead of his return to the sport this season.
2012 Toro Rosso to appear at first test
Toro Rosso are expected to launch their 2012 car at the first pre-season test, which will get underway at the Spanish circuit of Jerez on February 7. The TR7 completed the FIA’s crash test programme on Wednesday.
Red Bull to launch RB8 online on February 6
Reigning world champions Red Bull will unveil their 2012 challenger, the RB8, in an online presentation on February 6. The car will then make its official track debut at the opening pre-season test, which will take place at the Spanish circuit of Jerez from February 7-10.
